![]() ![]() Once i got the material down then i can worry about tests. If it makes it a difference, I'm more interesting in learning the material as apposed to passing a test. Im considering buying it (CCNA Version) since I dont have the means to have a physical lab but was interested in hearing first hand from people that have already bought the product. I just wanted to know if there are also limitations with this software. I recently found out about Boson NetSim after weeks of lurking on this sub and I even see that there is a Boson Employee here every once in a while. ![]() Packet tracer is great if you're just starting out, but there are A LOT of limitations once you get passed ICND1 (I'm not even able to assign a static IP on the DHCP pool because it doesnt recognize Host command.) GNS3 is also great but you have to have the actual IOS bin file (which i fortunately do have) but there are limitations with L2 switching as some of you may know. My only problem is the limitations of some of these sims. So I am getting more and more into the networking world and seriously considering taking my ICND1 and 2 over the next couple of months. ![]()
